This couldn’t be more classic, other than the the tomatoes, which are completely optional. There are 100’s of possible combinations!
Broccoli and Almond Stuffed Pancakes
I didn’t have a cauliflower, so used broccoli instead and was very pleased with the outcome. I knew it would be nice!

Jacket potatoes filled with cheese are one of the most popular ways to eat a baked potato.
Home Made Pitta Bread
These pitta bread are the ones I made on a Greek Cuisine course I went on with my husband at Claverham College. One of the things we made were these pitta bread.
I think you will be able to see from the picture that they are pillowy, puffy and soft. They were easy to do, and as they are so basic ingredients, very cheap.
Savoury Baked Oats
For brunch today, I had an absolutely delicious savoury baked oats dish and I give that version in the recipe card. I have had a little ponder and come up with lots of other flavour possibilities too.
Cheapy Bread Rolls. An hour from bag to table
These are simply divine, hot out of the oven with a generous slice of cheese in the middle, so it half melts. They only take an hour from start to finish!
Peanut Butter Noodles. Add chicken or fish, or keep it vegan
These noodles don’t take too long and you can really stretch out a few shreds of chicken or keep it vegan
Onion Bhajis
In these times of stripped supermarket shelves, recipes using minimal ingredients are even more useful that normal
Bean Burgers
A very tasty burger made with simple ingredients that just happens to be vegan
