When making puchkas, I was pretty sure it would work as a main course in a pastry case. And let me tell you, it worked beautifully!
Savoury Baked Oats
For brunch today, I had an absolutely delicious savoury baked oats dish and I give that version in the recipe card. I have had a little ponder and come up with lots of other flavour possibilities too.
Home made popcorn, less than half the price of shop bought
I noticed that popcorn could be done in the microwave, so I thought I would have a go, having previously always done it on the hob.

These are simply divine, hot out of the oven with a generous slice of cheese in the middle, so it half melts. They only take an hour from start to finish!

Stuck in limbo in a loft extension
We had a large loft and decided that we’d like to convert that as well. We wanted a bedroom each end and a bathroom in the middle. Nothing complicated, but my goodness, it took us a long time to get the go-ahead.
