This Weeks Meal Plan
Monday – Punjabi Cabbage, Split Peas, Matar Paneer and Nan. I’ll write up the Punjabi Cabbage and Matar Paneer recipes
Tuesday – Mushroom & Olive Bake. Yes, I’m trying that mushroom and olive bake again, might even get to make it this week!
Wednesday – Quiche Lorraine. The original. I got the bones of this recipe from Alsace when on holiday, and it’s really good
Thursday – Cheesy Stuffed Jkts and Salad . We enjoyed these last week and decided to have them again this week
Friday – BBQ chicken pizza. I made this version of a pizza last week and although it was tasty, I want to tweak the recipe so that it has more BBQ flavour
Saturday – Mushroom Lasagna. I love all the different lasagna’s I discovered when playing with the ragu layer
Sunday – Roast Beef & Trimmings. My husband arrived home with yet another Fred Flintstone sized joint of beef this week, it’s in the freezer right now. We’ll make a start on it next Sunday, I’ll put enough for another Sunday roast in the freezer and we’ll have beef based things during the week
So that’s the plan for this week, we’ll see how it goes. My husband does have a tendency to upset all my careful planning by wanting to go out for lunch and on other days to get a takeaway, when he gets enough for at least 2 days. It’s very nice, and we are fortunate enough to be able to do it, but I have to be careful things don’t get wasted
