A waste of a day

Yeurgh, woke up this morning with a burgeoning migraine, and after getting up really early, soon had to go back to bed having popped an Imigran. It’s now almost 6pm and although almost all the pain has gone, every muscle aches. What a waste of a day

Was intending to post a couple of recipes today, but they’ll have to wait now, don’t have the wherewithall to do it

Still can’t solve the blasted no email problem, have put in a support request to Jetpack to see if they can come up with anything. Ooh, they’ve just responded, I do hope they can find what it is.

The picture above is a narrow squeak that DP had this afternoon. He was assembling the oven housing, and the fixings were a little reluctant to pop into their allocated holes, so he gave it a bit of bang with his fist, not all that hard, and crack! Up poked a dowel, straight though the fascia. Eeeek! Very lucky for us, it was the side that will be against the larder, so won’t show at all. Phew, that was lucky!

imageThis is the decreasing pile of boxes. Believe it or not, it is a lot smaller. We are getting there, albeit slowly.

No kidding! Anyway, am really looking forward to seeing your end results! All the best x

Cor, you’d think if you were paying the enormous amount to have someone else do it, at least it would be done and dusted

Ours is feeling really real now. Every day a tiny bit more is done

I hope you feel better soon. I am following your kitchen progress with interest as we are having our kitchen done, too. The difference is that you are doing a lot of it yourselves and we are held in ransom by builders who are taking ages to finish (5 months and counting!). Best wishes with your works, the pictures look lovely!
