I’m off to a funeral today. We weren’t really close, but she was a relative, so I’m off to pay my respects.
So I thought I would show you a quick kitchen update. You can see the size of the space more now.
The table is out there now and being used every day. We still have to move the sofa from the study out there. Plus there are still lots of jobs to do, but I can see the finish line now – hooray! Although these things are like gardens, do we ever really think they are finished?
We had to take out most of the remaining tools as Meridian were here Monday filming. That little snippet should be on Meridian sometime very soon.
You can see the ever present pile of crud outside the door. I’m hoping it will be going soon!
It’s great isn’t it, I am really pleased. We’ve got to put a door over the washing machine, the LED lights round the edges, finish plastering and paint everywhere. But even so, I just love being out there and, literally, keep stroking the work surface!
T, don’t think you’ll get away without me coming down before the 25th!
I literally said WOW as I clicked onto the post. The space is looking amazing.
I bet the tree looks magical when it’s dark outside and you can’t see all the building ‘stuff’, just a black window and the beautifully illuminated tree at that end.
