Peel & slice the onion into crescents, very thinly
Mix in everything else
Heat the oil and fry tablespoons of mixture for a couple of minutes each side until brown and crispy.
If you use too much mixture at a time, they will be thicker and more puddingy. So be sparing
Best eaten immediately, while they're crisp

Add any spices you like or a spoonful of any curry pasteI've specified 2 tblsp of oil to fry in, because the calories are counted. You may need more than that to fry in, but it isn't all soaked up when cooking
