UK Money Bloggers Easter Giveaway

I’m excited to introduce the second competition of this month running on Thrifty Lesley!  In the first competition, running until 7th April 2019, you can win a Panasonic Bread Maker. I use one of these myself and it makes such wonderful bread, I find it difficult to resist!

This new competition, running until midnight on 14th April 2019, is the opportunity to win one of three fabulous Marks & Spencer Easter Hampers. The UK Money Bloggers shown below have all chipped in to make this competition possible. They are a talented lot and have many interesting, useful and wise things to say. I regularly read posts.

I’m thinking about Easter and may well come up with a recipe or two, is there anything in particular you’d like to see featured? I’ll try, but the weeks go by so quickly – whooosh, there’s another one rushing by, and before I know it, the time has passed.

Easter Hamper Competition

This Easter, some of the UK Money Bloggers have come together to offer you the chance to win one of three M&S Easter hampers. Three lucky winners will win an Easter hamper delivered before Easter. Keep reading to find out how you can enter.

I always bulk buy whenever a shop has a sale on anything like toilet rolks, coffee, cheese etc and kerp them in my upstairs cupboard. I save a lot of money over the year doing this as often I don’t have to buy certain items until they are on sale again. I also grow a lot of my own veg too which saves a lot of money and tastes better too.

  2. sandy lynn ralph

i scan the local newspapers and free magazines from the shops and the internet for coupons to use against product that I normally buy and can save quite a bit on my weekly shop this way

  3. Ruth

meal plan and use your freezer!

  4. Kayleigh Watkins

I use topcashback website, even the smallest purchases add up, when wifi is due renewal I usually earn £100+

  5. Anne Fraser

I used to work in a nursing home and we saved money on food by buying catering size packs of cupboard staples like pasta, rice, sugar, flour, teabags, coffee.. There is no reason you can’t do the same.

  6. Jo

My best money saving tip is to count the pennies. because they all add up over time. Shaving a few pennies off the cost of the cost of a meal, buying an own brand product instead of the expensive branded one, shopping around, checking the yellow stickered section in the supermarket, growing a few herbs on the windowsill or lettuce leaves in the summer – these all mean lots in the savings account at the end of the year.

  7. Ele Holloway

Invest in an electric pressure cooker. Great for cooking either for one or big batch cooking, or even to bake cakes. It saves time, energy (no need to turn on gas oven or hob) and injuries (having ME causes me to be clumsy) and burned food (ME makes me forget too). Best gadget ever!

  8. roxana stoica

My best tip on saving money is always freezing part of the meal you are cooking that you might not be eating straightaway, this way you will always have ready cooked food rather than leaving the rest to spoil, plus you can enjoy a laid back evening without ordering a takeaway.
