As we have no power on this, the no power plan, to refrigerate, have this meat product on the first day.

I have changed this so have no pictures, they will follow

raw carrots in a pile

200g haslet, Asda 250g/75p
200g carrots, Asda 2kg/£1.18, 12p
Half a tin of value sweet corn, drained, 35p tin, 17p

200g white cabbage, 58p/kg, 12p
100g carrots, Asda 2kg/£1.18, 6p
Value mayonnaise, 50p, 10p

Total cost £1.32, 66p a portion

Chop the white cabbage as fine as you can get it. Grate the 200g carrots, peel it first if you want to. Mix with as much or as little of the mayonnaise as you want to make coleslaw

Prepare the remaining 200g carrots. Chop into batons, no need to peel if they are in good condition.

Put the sweet corn onto plates, arrange the carrot batons. Pile the coleslaw beside them. Fold up the haslet slices and place beside the vegetables.

If you have any chutney or pickle stashed in the cupboard, now would be a good time to use some.
